Brenham, Texas, [May 13, 2019] – REM Surface Engineering is excited to announce the hire of Mr. Ryan Shealy, Government Programs and Funding Manager, to pilot efforts in pursuing Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and government funding to advance REM’s technologies. Ryan has worked SBIR world, including managing NAVSEA’s SBIR programs for the Navy. Ryan’s unique government experience and background in project management, budgeting, computer, and electrical engineering make for an ideal combination of skills to build on REM’s existing SBIR success.
With many government agencies pursuing post-processing technologies and equipment solutions for Additive Manufacturing, REM sees a key window of opportunity to capitalize and develop REM’s technologies as the prime solution for AM post-processing needs. Ryan will work closely with Nathan Michaud, Dr. Agustin Diaz, and the REM Research Group team to pursue additional SBIR awards, manage and maximize the successful completion of deliverables for existing projects.
