FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Brenham, Texas – The American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) is pleased to announce that Justin Michaud, CEO of REM Surface Engineering, has been honored with the prestigious AGMA Chairperson’s Award. This recognition celebrates his exceptional contributions and remarkable leadership within AGMA’s Emerging Technology committees, with particular acknowledgment of his pivotal role in the publication of the first-ever 3D Printing White Paper by AGMA.

The AGMA Chairperson’s Award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary dedication and innovative thinking in furthering the goals and mission of AGMA. Justin Michaud’s exceptional commitment to advancing the understanding and utilization of emerging technologies in the gear industry has made him a standout recipient of this esteemed award.

“I am extremely grateful for the AGMA’s recognition of my work supporting their Emerging Technology committees,” CEO, Justin Michaud said, “it is beyond flattering to receive the Chairperson’s Excellence Award. Chairing the 3D Printing sub-committee has been a privilege and has allowed me to interact with dozens of extremely talented individuals from the gear industry, the additive manufacturing industry, and academia. The connections that the committee has fostered and the network that has been built around the committee are, in my opinion, invaluable, and they will serve as a foundation for both industries going forward as we look to capitalize on the extensive knowledge and expertise possessed by traditional gear manufacturers and the rapidly developing capabilities of additive manufacturing.”
