Southington, CT – REM Surface Engineering is proud to celebrate the 40th work anniversary of Michael Salerno, Business Manager, Firearms & Racing at REM. Michael joined the company four decades ago and over that time has distinguished himself as a trusted leader, industry expert and valued member of the REM team.

Michael Salerno holds a degree in Manufacturing Technology/Manufacturing Management from Central Connecticut State University. He oversees REM’s Northeast region and is one of the company’s foremost experts in the aerospace, firearms and racing industries.

Since starting at REM, Michael has played an integral role in developing client relationships, guiding technical applications of REM’s advanced isotropic superfinishing technologies and helping to expand REM’s presence across high-performance sectors. His commitment to excellence and deep technical knowledge have helped elevate the company’s impact in markets where precision and durability are paramount.
