Brenham, TX — REM Surface Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Fernando Loyola as the newest Account Manager for its U.S. Sales Team. Loyola brings a strong combination of technical engineering expertise and hands-on industry experience, and will play an important role in supporting REM’s continued growth and expanding its presence across the United States.

Loyola joins the sales team with a solid technical foundation. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler, where he also participated in advanced research with NASA during his senior year. His work contributed to the development of a novel human-rated spacecraft thermal management system.

Prior to joining REM’s sales division, Loyola worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure. In that role, he focused on developing next-generation equipment and infrastructure for the oil and gas industry, with an emphasis on optimizing mechanical systems to improve performance and operational efficiency.

Loyola’s move into the U.S. Sales Team reflects REM’s commitment to pairing technical expertise with customer-focused solutions. His engineering background enables him to understand complex mechanical challenges and help customers identify the most effective equipment and process solutions.

“With several years of RRG experience under his belt, Fernando’s engineering expertise and knowledge of REM’s equipment solutions make him a valuable addition to our sales team as REM continues to grow and develop,” said Nathan Michaud, VP of Strategy.
